Submit Richard Wilde, Chair, Advertising and Design departments View Selections The International Educators Workshop will take place the week of July 13-17, 2015. This summer workshop offers international art educators (high school and college) an opportunity to develop their creative skills while experiencing American culture by living and studying in New York City. Participants will develop their creative skills during a 5-day brainstorming workshop taught by Richard Wilde. A document of completion will be awarded for this course. A variety of events and entertainment will be offered in during the program at no spare cost. We are now unsuspicious applications for the 2015 International Educators Workshop. Completed using materials must be received by Friday, May 1, in order to secure a space in the the program. Request information at [email protected] to learn increasingly well-nigh the International Educators Workshop at SVA. Program Dates, Tuition & Fees Dates: Monday, July 13 – Friday, July 17, 2015 Tuition: $1,800* (includes weekend and evening activities' program fees) *Tuition for CDFNY Summer Program chaperones is $900 (discounted, includes $75 tuition deposit). Note: A $75 tuition petrifaction fee is included in the forfeit of tuition. Housing: Misogynistfor CDFNY Summer Program chaperones only. All other participants are responsible for finding their own housing. Health Insurance: Participants living in SVA housing must have their own health insurance. Supplies: Participants will be responsible for their own vital supplies. English Proficiency: All lectures will be given in English. Participants are required to have at least a vital worthiness to communicate in and understand English.Undertow& Schedule Information Participants will develop their creative skills during a 5-day brainstorming workshop taught by Richard Wilde, Chair, BFA Advertising and Design departments (5-6 hours of instruction per day, 27 hours total). This undertow will focus on creative techniques and experimentation, and will push participants to explore new ways of unescapable visual communication. Additionally, one studio visit and one special lecture will be offered (1.5 hours each). A document of completion will be awarded for this course. The tentative schedule for 2015 can be downloaded from the "Downloads" section of this page. Housing On-campus housing is misogynist for qualifying CDFNY Summer Program chaperones only. In order to qualify for housing, chaperones must trailblaze a group of at least 5 higher students participating in the 3-week CDFNY Summer Program. Please note that due to limited housing availability, chaperones may be expected to share rooms with other chaperones (same gender) in mixed-gender apartments. All other participants are responsible for finding their own housing. Activities A variety of entertainment and events will be offered during the program at no spare cost. Options may include dinner in Times Square, a Broadway musical, a dinner/jazz night, and a farewell dinner. Airport Transportation There is no program transportation pick-up from or to the airports. Participants either unify for a car service or students may use the regulated taxi service outside the valise requirement zone without picking up their luggage. The forfeit is approximately $55 - $65 each way from LaGuardia, JFK or Newark airports. Please make sure to take only the regulated 'Yellow' New York Taxi service to the city. Orientation An orientation meeting will take place at the start of the program. A detailed orientation schedule will be sent to participants prior to the start of the program. Payment & Refund Policy Completed payment forms must be received by Friday, May 1 in order to reserve your space. Please note that a $75 tuition petrifaction fee is included in the forfeit of tuition. In the event that we are unable to winnow you to the workshop, or the workshop is canceled, tuition (including the $75 tuition petrifaction fee) will be refunded in full. Refunds are misogynist if a written request to officially withdraw is submitted to the Office of Programs for International Students. Failure to well-constructed a undertow does not constitute an official withdrawl, nor does notifying an instructor, nor does lack of attendance. Refunds will be issued equal to the pursuit schedule: Before Friday, May 1: Credit vellum will not be charged. Before Monday, June 29: 100% of tuition. Before Monday, July 13: 75% of tuition. There will be no refunds without the first day of the program. Visas TheHighercannot provide you with a visa for this workshop, nor squire you in obtaining one.
